VIET TAI CHI is not a martial art and is not a mystical experience. It is a set of body movements and internal techniques of energy so far often restricted to a small group of selected people.Through movements with energetic breathing carefully studied, VTC develops the internal energy of the people who practice it, that is their supernatural strength deeply hidden inside each of us.
VTC is the realisation of the best and most effective knowledge and traditional techniques. It was formulated in a huge coherent structure by Master Phan Hoang, after thirty years of intense practice and eight years of intense meditation; something between the martial arts and the techniques for good health, VTC is like a rose blossomed out of the snow, like a phenix which resuscitates from its ashes. For its wonderful beauty of the gestures, its special breathing, its beneficial effects which act mainly upon each meridian and chakra, for its philosophical and spiritual depth, VTC represents a new approach to the realisation of the self-conscious and happy man. A path towards complete self-fulfilment.
Thanks to its diversified techniques, everybody likes VTC. The adults practice it as an art of good health while active people find out in it a surprising source of energy.Doctors can prescribe specific movements to complement a treatment.VTC is a link between all the martial arts and sports. Alternatively martial arts can use VTC movements for their pre-training for each school. Black belts of all disciplines may find out the deep spirit of martial arts.
The peculiarity of VTC is that each movement can be executed independently from the others and each movement corresponds to a precise point of a meridian and to an appropriate breathing method. You can practice the chosen movement slowly in order to experience peace and relaxation or quickly to stimulate your body. Each movement is the physical support of a philosophical thought or a mental principle, so that body and mind are harmoniously united. VTC is the Art of the Best Being, the Path of the Strong and Happy Man.

The words cannot describe the invaluable richness if this art. It is sufficient to watch a practitioner who execute a few movement at dawn to understand the depth of VTC. The man is in harmony with nature. In the freedom and smoothness of the movement there is the strength of martial arts and the precise action upon the meridians.
It is possible to train everywhere and in any moment of the day. Even a few minutes may be sufficient for the greetings, the four breathing techniques, the five energetic movements, the six wonderful movements or some among the twenty-eight Thin Mat movements which contribute to regain strength, restore energy, prevent stress and illnesses.
In the everyday life VTC gives equally good living habits.
During the day you get used to breathing through the "Dan Dien" (a region in the womb). At sunset you can stimulate the "Ba Hoi" point (located at the top of the head) and you can massage the head to get rid of all the worries of the day and to dive into a deep and restoring sleep. Each movement contains a thought which allows the practitioner to discover, with continuous practice and pondering, new horizons for his/her evolution
